The Challenge

With electricity prices at 35p/kWh, a homeowner sought to cut bills and reduce grid reliance. We designed a solar + battery system to meet their needs.

Smart Solar UK is a very efficient, knowledgeable company that really knows the solar PV business. They came out to work on my 17-year-old system, and did a marvellous job. Following an in depth market review of no less than 10 companies we appointed Smart Solar UK to install a Solar PV System to our factory. Though the install was completed in Dec 24 (a challenging month for any kind of roof works) everything went to plan and completed on time. Smart Solar UK installed our solar system in December 2023, comprising 9 panels and a 10kWh battery. Whilst we knew we wanted to take advantage of solar power and that environmentally it was the right thing to do, we had very little knowledge or understanding of what would be involved and confess to some anxiety as to the aesthetics and installation process. Due to the scale of the project, I was required by our Board of Directors to get several quotes.
